When can I move in?
If there is a storage space available that meets your storage needs, you can move in anytime during normal business access hours. Please check our website for hours of operation per location.
How much notice needs to be given before I move out?
We require two weeks notice before moving out of your storage unit. For any questions, please reach out to one of our storage locations.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
We ask our customers to provide a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license or passport) when renting a storage unit in any of our five locations.
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No, the minimum lease is four weeks and after that is paid, you decide how long you wish to stay! We do however offer 4% discounts on 6 months of prepaid rent and 8% discounts on 12 months prepaid rent.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
You can either bring your own lock or purchase one from our retail office.
Is there discount if I pay rent in advance?
Yes, we always offer various discounts to those customers who pay in advance. They can range from 4-8% off your entire stay. Make sure to call us to find out which discounts apply, for you!
Do you offer any promotions or discounts?
We run storage promotions, and can range from discounts on storage supplies to promotions on monthly storage rates. Check out our ‘promotions’ page of our website so you can receive information on these great deals.
We offer 5% discounts to students and seniors. We understand that moving deals and storage discounts have a huge effect on your relocation budget, and that is why we want to lessen the financial load for our senior and student clients.
How do I make a payment?
You can pay in person, by phone or make a payment through our website. You can also provide post-dated cheques.
You may also sign up to have rental payments automatically deducted from your credit card so you never miss a payment!
What forms of payment do you accept?
VISA, MasterCard, American Express, money orders, cheques, cash.
Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
Yes. We sell various moving supplies in our office.
The following moving supplies are sold at discounted prices for our customers:
- Durable packing boxes
- Multi-sized furniture covers (for mattresses, chairs, sofas)
- Bubble wrap
- Foam wrap
- Specialty boxes like wardrobe boxes
- Plastic bins
Do you offer insurance?
We offer between $5,000 and $20,000 worth of insurance coverage for very reasonable rates.
Do you have trucks available to rent?
Yes. We are a one-stop-shop for all your storage and moving needs! We provide different sizes of rental trucks so you only have to plan your move with one company; simply book a truck and we’ll be there to transport your items to your storage unit at your own convenience.
To make your move easier, we also provide:
- All the moving and packing supplies you may need to enhance your experience
- Low hourly rates for truck rentals
- Moving pads for rent
- Easy loading ramps
- Exclusivity of our trucks for only our tenants
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use our Storage Calculator on our website or call an experienced storage manager for assistance.
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, all food, explosives, flammable liquids and toxic materials. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?
No. At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours. Our Toronto location is only accessible during office hours. Please check our website for our location hours.
Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts and dollies to move in.
